Synopsis: Anne (Dylan Gelula, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”) realizes that she’s in love with Sasha (Brianna Hildebrand “Deadpool”), the most popular girl at school and the best player on the girl’s soccer team. This is a shock to Clifton (Mateo Arias), because he wants to move from the “friend zone” to a romantic relationship with Anne. Sasha is trying to be on the down low because of her parents and other pressures, which is confusing to Anne. Writer/Director Kerem Sanga captures the volcanic emotions of first love with a beautiful sensitivity, which earned him the NEXT Audience Award at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.
