ABOUT THE EVENT:

Join aGLIFF in commemorating World AIDS Day with a special evening featuring the iconic 1997 film Love! Valour! Compassion!

Arrive early at 5:30 p.m. for a resource fair showcasing Central Texas sexual health organizations, including Vivent Health, Austin Public Health, CommunityCare, Center for Health Empowerment, Integral Care, Project Transitions, allgo, and more.

Connect with local experts, access vital resources, and honor the resilience of the LGBTQ+ community before enjoying this heartfelt and poignant exploration of love, friendship, and loss.

Following the screening, stay for a panel discussion with community leaders to explore the current battle against new infections and what we can do to prevent them. Don’t miss this meaningful celebration of awareness, education, and compassion.

This is a “Pay-What-You-Can” event with a suggestion donation of $10.00. Proceeds will benefit the Hill Country Ride for AIDS.

Gregory invites seven friends to spend the summer at his large, secluded 19th-century home in upstate New York. The seven are: Bobby, Gregory's "significant other," who is blind but who loves to explore the home's garden using his sense of touch; Art and Perry, two "yuppies" who drive a Volvo and who celebrate their 14th anniversary together that summer; John, a dour expatriate Briton who loathes his twin brother James; Ramon, John's "companion," who is physically attracted to Bobby and immediately tries to seduce the blind man; James, a cheerful soul who is in the advanced stages of AIDS; and Buzz, a fan of traditional Broadway musicals who is dealing with his own HIV-positive status.
